Katharina Voigt's new paper shows how previous choices change preferences

The forthcoming paper by Katharina Voigt, Carsten Murawski and Stefan Bode in the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory and Cognition demonstrates the exogenous formation of preferences. After making decisions between equally valued snack foods, people were less willing to pay for initially rejected snacks, and more willing to pay for initially chosen snacks.
