Dissociating neural signals related to stimulus quality and random noise in the encoding of stimuli

In this functional MRI paper, we show that signals related to stimulus quality and trial-by-trial fluctuations in response times can be dissociated at the neural level. This is collaborative work between current and former DLab researchers and Dr David Sewell (University of Queensland), Prof Gary Egan (Monash University), Dr Bryan Paton (University of Newcastle) and Prof Philip Smith (University of Melbourne).
